Location page content: what a branch page must answer before the slogan
A branch page is a decision page. Visitors need the entrance, the hours, the services in that branch, and what to do next.
A location page should get a stranger to the right door, with the right expectation, in one screen.
Lead with arrival and offer
Open with what this branch does and how to get there. Save the company story for the about page. A customer with a map pin open is not looking for a manifesto.
List the services this address actually provides. If a treatment or a product is not available here, say so. The alternative is a wasted trip.
Add the details only this branch knows
MTR exit, lift lobby, parking reality, languages spoken at the counter, and how queues work are content. Repeating the national catalogue is not.
Include a real photo of the entrance and the NAP in text. The photo helps a human. The text helps search and answer engines.
- Services available at this branch.
- How to arrive in local terms.
- Hours, phone, and a next step.
Give the page one action
Call, book, or get directions. Offer the action that matches the branch. A row of five identical buttons sends people back to the pack to decide.
When the branch closes, redirect the page to the surviving location or to a clear closure note. A cheerful page for a dark shop is a trust problem.
Questions
How long should a branch page be?
Long enough to cover arrival, services, hours, and the next step. Extra sections that could sit on any city page are not helping.
Can several branches share one page?
Only if the visitor does not need to choose between them. If the entrances differ, give each a page.
